Overview
Trophy Brown Trout on the White River
February is the White River’s prime time.
Cold water pours from Bull Shoals Dam, and the largest brown trout in the system abandon caution. This is when the White River gives anglers their best chance all year at truly massive fish.
This hosted February experience on the White River is built specifically for anglers seeking trophy brown trout, not numbers. Fishing will focus on proven big-fish tactics including streamers, indicator rigs, mouse patterns, and night fishing, targeting browns that regularly push past the 25-inch mark.
Average fish are in the 18-22 inch range, but the true giants can be 30-35 inches!
You’ll stay in a luxury lodge-style setting with outstanding accommodations and our host and head guide, Tanner Ingle will be our chef preparing nightly meals. Days are structured around optimal water conditions, allowing time to fish hard, rest, and reset for evening and night sessions—when the biggest browns come out to hunt.
This is a small-group, fully hosted experience designed for serious anglers who value quality, comfort, and opportunity. February can offer low fishing pressure, aggressive feeding behavior, and the highest odds of encountering the fish the White River is famous for.
Spots are limited by design.
If you’ve ever wanted a legitimate shot at the largest brown trout of your life—this is the week to do it.
